The Torres Strait is exclusively visited on our Torres Strait Expedition only in two months of the year, March and November. The Torres Strait is a vast, untouched and wildly remote area. Set between northern Cape York and Papua New Guinea, the Torres Strait is one of Australia’s most remote, diverse and exciting fishing destinations. This vast network of islands, reefs, channels and pristine tropical waters offers an unforgettable setting for an extended fishing adventure.
What makes fishing here particularly special is the sheer diversity of the environment. One day can take you from shallow reef flats and coral bommies to deep channels and current-swept passages, where changing tides and bait movements dictate where the fish will be.
